CARAMEL AND CHOCOLATE PECAN BARS

You only need a handful of ingredients to whip up these simple, delicious Caramel and Chocolate Pecan Bars.

INGREDIENTS:
- FOR THE CRUST:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup pecan halves
- FOR THE TOPPING:
- 2/3 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS:
- TO MAKE THE CRUST:
- Combine the flour, brown sugar, and butter, beating at medium speed with an electric mixer until the mixture resembles fine crumbs.
- Press onto the bottom of an ungreased 9″x 13″x 2″ baking pan. Place the pecans evenly over the top of the crust.
